Panel speaking at Axis Open London 2025

Tomorrow, our Technical Director Adam Foster will be joining a panel at AXIS Open London 2025.

The event will bring together professionals who are keen to explore the latest innovations in security, safety, business intelligence, and operational efficiency and looking to meet and connect with industry leaders, systems integrators, distributors, consultants, and end-users to discuss the hottest topics, such as AI, sustainability, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.

Adam will be part of the panel discussing digital transformation, and how it’s no longer just about security systems being designed for health and safety, but more about the data that these systems can generate and how they can be harnessed to create new operational efficiencies for end users.

Security systems like cameras used to be seen purely as security devices, but what we’re encouraging people to see is that they are powerful sensors, feeding into broader ecosystems that enable automation, smarter decision making and a deeper insight into business operations.

This switches things from just monitoring spaces, towards understanding what is happening within the spaces.

Look beyond just new technologies:

Adam will also be discussing the importance of looking beyond new technology, and consider the opportunities that can derive from the data that you already have…

What’s surprising is the vast amount of data that businesses are harbouring, often unknowingly hidden within their existing systems, (including legacy systems) that are still producing valuable data.

When these siloed datasets are mined, they can reveal patterns, trends and opportunities that can be leveraged to transform your operations.

Embracing innovation:

Adam will be talking about embracing innovation over simply just deploying the latest tools and how it’s important to be understanding end users needs, their challenges and their data and striving to develop solutions that deliver insights as well as impact.

We’re excited to hear the perspectives shared both on the digital transformation panel and across the whole event!

We’ll post another blog following the event where we’ll discuss some of the topics featured tomorrow!
