Data Installation & Supplies was ‘fostered’ upon the willingness to innovate and create technical solutions, whilst being dedicated to offering our customers the best service and support, both values are still at the forefront of Data Installation & Supplies 38 years later.
Established in 1983, we have a wealth of experience, which we could talk about all day (but you’d probably rather look at our timeline to see our evolution in your own time.)

Our History
1983
Data Installation & Supplies was incorporated by Mick and Jan Foster.
1987
At Data Installation & Supplies we are extremely proud of our efficient working practices, in 1987 we receive our ISO 9001.2008 accreditation.
1995
DIS saw the light, this was the year we installed our first Fibre Optic Cable.
1997
Twinax Cabling makes way for Ethernet, the team install our first Cat5 cable.
1998
We’re not just cabling experts anymore; this was the year we expanded into Network Switching & Routing.
2000
Welcome DIS becomes an early adopter of IP Telephony & Wi-Fi.
2005
DIS is watching… We become an innovator in IP Network Camera Installation.
2009
DIS becomes a Managed Service Provider, delivering MPLS and Direct Internet to customers.
2013
DIS begins pushing the scope of its managed services, offering Private Cloud Hosting, alongside multiple other SaaS solutions.
2015
In 2015 we introduced our support contracts.
2018
Supported by our Partner Markets Data Installation & Supplies saw substantial annual growth across all sectors.
2020
Our 2020 was spent working closely with our customers to provide technologies to assist with their compliance in the face of the COVID-19 Pandemic.
2021
DIS is proud to retain both customers and employees who have been with the business for over 30 years and are looking forward to the future.
